The Iron —
We Don’t Need to Rent It.
We Have It.
Coldfoot Crane Specialists operates one of North America's most distinctive and well thought-out heavy-lift fleets. The Liebherr LTM 1800 — a 1,000 US ton hydraulic truck crane, the only hydraulic boom crane built capable of running with a derrick and tray. The Liebherr LGD 1550 — converted to US outrigger ANSI specs, a 685 US ton lattice boom on an X-platform outrigger 24-tire carrier that runs circles around crawlers on wind maintenance and refinery shutdowns. We don't do wind erection — we do wind maintenance. Coldfoot operates the world's largest fleet of these machines, with tray-and-derrick systems, heavy and light boom packages, and full luffer/jib systems on the yard.
The Demag TC-2800 — a unique beast, ideally suited to the datacenter and battery-storage build-out, with load charts and mobility that greatly outperform the CC-2800 line. A serious addition to the lineup. The Liebherr LR 1600 — no longer in production, but one of the most versatile crawler systems Liebherr ever built, for the jobs where a crawler is the right answer. The LR-1300SX with luffer — most crane companies run only an SX main or a standard 1300 boom with a light luffer; ours is a very capable machine in a light package for its class.
Tadano and Link-Belt Telecrawlers — the way to go for support work, far surpassing the efficiency of RT cranes on fast-moving sites where experienced project managers look past the typical construction fleet for real productivity. When the project calls for the right tool — not whatever's available — this is where the call gets made.
Heavy
Lift
The cranes that make Coldfoot COLDFOOT. Built for wind turbine maintenance, small modular reactor installations, specialty refinery turnaround lifts, and the projects other companies shy away from. Every unit thoughtfully configured for the special needs within the energy corridor — we looked ahead to the grid demands created by datacenters and invested in the right equipment.
LTM 1800
The only hydraulic-boom crane built capable of running with a lattice derrick. Strongest hydraulic-boom configuration at radius. 970 US ton in standard T configuration — the derrick (T2DB) unlocks the full 1,000 US ton rating.
LTM 1230-5.1
Five-axle versatility with the TZNF luffing-jib package. Wind turbine maintenance, refinery, and capital-project workhorse.
LGD 1550
Highway-mobile lattice boom on a 24-tire X-platform outrigger carrier. With wind tip, stronger than a Manitowoc 16000. With luffer, services wind turbines to 120m hub height at 176,000 lb capacity.
TC-2800
Lattice boom on an All-Terrain mount. Full tray-and-derrick system, heavy and light main boom inventory, heavy luffer attachments. Built for the datacenter and battery-storage build-out — outperforms the CC-2800 line on load chart and on-site mobility.
LR 1600/2
One of the most versatile crawler systems Liebherr ever built — no longer in production. Heavy-lift crawler for refinery turnaround, large vessel installation, and heavy industrial component replacement. Walks loads between work zones on tracks.
LR 1500
VarioTray suspended counterweight system. Compact transport with full heavy-lift performance for wind and industrial work.
LR 1300 SX
Most rental yards run a 1300SX main or a standard 1300 with a light luffer. Coldfoot runs the SX with a full luffer — a very capable machine in a light package for its class.
TCC-1200
One of the best large-crane support cranes available. Fast crane assembly, tail operations with outrigger-mounted heavy iron, big-job efficiency that RT cranes can't match.
LTR 1150
Pick-and-carry telescopic crawler. Fast site relocation, on-track mobility — ideal for capital projects, refinery support, and wind maintenance where deployment speed wins.
LTR 1100
Compact telescopic crawler with full pick-and-carry capability. The fast-deploy support workhorse for tight industrial sites and quick project transitions. Telescopic structure caps effective ANSI rating at metric conversion.
GT-1200XL
120-ton hydraulic truck crane. Site mobility, fast setup, the right call for sub-100-ton picks across the project.
GT-800XL
80-ton hydraulic truck crane. Daily-driver capacity for capital projects, wind maintenance, and gas compression work.
HTC-86110
110-ton hydraulic truck crane. American-built workhorse for high-cycle daily site lifts.
45-Ton Series
45-ton boom trucks for service, installation, and rigging support. The unsung hardware that keeps capital projects moving.
Configurations
That Win Jobs.
Most yards rent cranes. Coldfoot configures lift solutions. Our depth across accessory systems means we'll show up with the exact rig the lift study requires — not the closest thing in inventory.
Two complete suspended-counterweight (B) systems on the yard. Stacks Liebherr SLDB and SWDB configurations on demand.
S (heavy) sections up to 77 m each. L (light) sections up to 84 m each. Configure any SL boom length the project calls for.
A 20'×20' wood-and-steel mat system per outrigger drops a 2,000,000 lb crane-plus-load down to 1,300 PSF ground pressure — well inside the bearing capacity of nearly any field soil in the basin. Soft soils, sand, saturated clay: matted into operating-grade sites without weeks of subgrade work.
Full head-adapter inventory — 220.5 kps pulley blocks, no-pulley variants, and extension configurations for specialized rigging.
LICCON-generated lift studies, ground-bearing analysis, and critical-lift documentation. We don't hand off — we engineer the lift.
Self-propelled modular transporters for staging components to a single crane setup. Cuts move cycles, saves shifts.
Tell Us About the Lift.
Send the load weight, the radius, the site location, and the schedule. We'll configure the crane, generate the lift study, and quote the job. No fluff, no upsells.
